Event Details

It’s a day like any other on the block. A young girl is chastised by her mother, who wishes her to trade her shorts for long jeans while another, more demurely clothed, learns the veena (a traditional string instrument) in an adjacent apartment. A while later, elsewhere, the young women join their friends, playing other instruments, wearing what they feel comfortable in, appearing as they are, in their world, away from their families and mentors.
